Booking and Prices

Which tours are there?

We are a small, new start-up and are starting with TWO „Innsbruck Food Tours“ as our first offer. However, as foodies, we love good food and have many new ideas for Innsbruck and Tyrol. More tour offers are coming soon.

What exactly does the Tours look like?

In the section "Our Tours" there is a small overview of a few culinary stops. From time to time we will modify our program, in order to be able to respond to seasonal Tyrolean specialties - for instance at Easter or Christmas time. One thing we can assure you is that you will always hear many interesting stories and, above all, will be full and satisfied.

How much are the Tours?

The Innsbruck Food Tour "Classic" costs 95 euros per person.  For young people up to the age of 16 it costs 70 euros. The "Tyrolean Sweets & Coffee Tour" costs 60 euros per person.  For young people up to the age of 16 it costs 40 euros. If you are on vacation with younger children, we will surely find a suitable deal for you. Just contact us with any questions at booking@innsbruckfoodtours.at . All prices include tax. The price includes all offered food and drinks.

How can I pay for the "Innsbruck Food Tour"?

You must pay in advance by credit card, Paypal or direct debit. For group bookings or bookings from Monday to Wednesday, please contact us by mail or phone. Short-term bookings can also be done on the day of the tour and on-site, if there is free space. Those who book on-site will receive an invoice by e-mail after the tour.

Can children join the tour?

Children of any age, whether on foot or in a stroller, are welcome to join. The responsibility of supervision lies with their guardians. Of course alcohol is not served to children and teenagers under the legal drinking age!

In small groups you can enjoy food better and communicate well. The Classic food tour takes place with a minimum of TWO people, the SWEET food tour takes place with a minimum of FOUR people and a maximum of 15 people! Larger groups on request!

Are there other tour times?

We do our CLASSIC tours every week Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting at 10 o'clock! And our SWEETS & COFFE tour every Tuesday and Wednesday, starting at 13 o'clock! You are also welcome to request alternative tour times. Unfortunately, tours are not possible on Sundays, as many shops and businesses are closed.

How can I cancel a food tour, what are the cancellation conditions?

Of course we understand that travel plans can change. In our terms and conditions you can find more information.

Organizational

Where do the Tours start?

The meeting point for the CLASSIC tour is always in front of the "Markthalle Innsbruck". The meeting point for the SWEETS & COFFEE tour is always in front of Café Munding, in the Old Town. Immediately after booking you will receive a confirmation email with exact information about the meeting point, our contact details, and a city map. But do not panic: Innsbruck is small, we will surely find each other!

How long will the tours take?

We will be together for a total of about four hours, at the SWEETS & COFFEE tour for about 2,5 hours - but will not be walking all the time. There will be short breaks from time to time, not only during the tastings. The tour is doable at any age! And to be honest, after eating most of us are glad to walk for a short while – in order to be ready to try the next food.

If the weather is bad, will the tour be canceled?

The tour will take place in any weather - rain or shine! The distances between the restaurants / businesses are usually short. However, for your comfort, please dress according to the weather and wear comfortable or weather-adapted footwear.

The food

How much is there to eat?

PLEASE come hungry and thirsty! The Innsbruck Food Tour "Classic" replaces more than just a lunch! And also the SWEETS & COFFEE tour will not leave you hungry! Let yourself be surprised, you will not regret it!

Is there alcohol?

YES, there is alcohol. Typical Tyrolean specialties are also alcoholic drinks. Of course, you do not have to drink it. Alcohol will not be served to children or adolescents, with no exceptions! There are always non-alcoholic beverages for all other tour participants as well.

Vegetarian? Food intolerance?

YES WE CAN! We are happy to think of alternatives for you, which also makes the Tyrolean hospitality and culinary art so special. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible, so that we can plan accordingly. Do you suffer from any food intolerances or allergies? Please let us know when you do the online-booking.
